We were there at the initial public stock purchase offering in 1996—a young agency and a young bank setting out to make their mark. Capital Bank needed a name, a brand, and we delivered. Our inaugural job number as a company was the for the bank’s brand foundation. Through the 90s outreach focused on products, tangible differentiators that separated Capital Bank from competitors. As the bank grew to a regional institution spanning North Carolina, so did our communication strategy. We adapted messaging to fit new markets and new goals.

Capital Bank’s brand was founded on a service-focused message that defined the bank as a leader in the communities it served. We gave life to this hometown, personal message through television, radio, print and digital outlets—all united by design work a national institution would envy. The bank grew and we were there each step of the way, helping make Capital Bank a recognizable and trusted resource for the people of this state. Today, the bank is owned by a new holding company and is among the top 100 banks in the nation.

We built a website with a breadth equal to the impact Capital Bank had on the communities it serves.

We put the campaign where customers could not miss it. More than 80 banking offices in the southeast converted to Capital Bank, with these point of sale materials. Customized photography gave this consistently-themed program a local feel in each community throughout the entire footprint.
