We Think

It’s an Artsplosure thing.

Last year, Mottis dove in headfirst at the opportunity to reimagine the brand for Artsplosure, a Raleigh nonprofit that produces events to make art accessible to the public.

We were equally excited to partner with them as marketing sponsor this past fall for one of their signature events, First Night® Raleigh.

As the rebrand of the organization continues to unfold (like the new website we’re helping them rollout at the end of March, yay!) and a successful First Night Raleigh campaign completed, we’re tackling another project for this wonderful organization as marketing sponsor for Artsplosure, The Raleigh Arts Festival.

Artsplosure’s spring festival is one of the organization’s most popular and well-loved events, and this year is extra special as it’s the festival’s 35th anniversary. If you haven’t been, the free festival is a fun, family-friendly visual and performing arts experience in downtown Raleigh, complete with a vibrant arts and crafts marketplace. This year it takes place on May 17-18, 2014.

From a marketing standpoint, the promotional campaign for the festival gives Mottis the chance to develop a campaign to promote the experiential qualities of the event while also differentiating and upholding the overarching brand for the organization.

But this time around, we’re doing things a bit differently. We have the opportunity to pair with college students to flesh out the campaign together through a graphic design internship. Not only is this a great learning experience for the team of interns, but it gives them an opportunity to work with one of the most creative nonprofit organizations in the Triangle area. Working with a highly creative client such as Artsplosure is a blast, and an extra bonus in building their design portfolios! If you or someone you know may be interested in this internship, visit our careers page or click here to learn more about the position.

This organization really gets our creative juices flowing, keeps us living the inspired life we strive for at Mottis, and we’d love to share it with college students who are ready to learn and grow as designers.

What do you think?

We’re all about having a conversation. Not as much the psychology or big-word-jargon other agencies throw around. So let us know what you think of our post, whether you love it, or hate it. We can take it. Just keep it clean, so we don’t frighten the kids.
