Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild partners with Kelly MarCom to promote 40th Annual Fine Craft Show
The Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild (CDCG) has partnered with integrated marketing agency Kelly MarCom to promote their annual fine craft and design show taking place Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 27 through 29 in Raleigh. 2009 marks the Guild’s milestone 40th anniversary of the annual show. The Guild showcases both traditional and contemporary works by the region’s premier craftsmen.
“By promoting the individual accomplishments of the talented exhibiting artists as well as the mission of the Guild as a whole, Kelly MarCom hopes to culminate a successful marketing campaign to drive awareness for the show this November,” said Kathi Bentley, senior account strategist at Kelly MarCom.
“Growing the Guild is a priority, not only to continue our annual show, but to further communicate the importance of handmade goods and purchasing locally,” said Lisa Oakley, CDCG exhibiting member and artist. “Attracting the local artistic community and potential buyers is a way to promote crafts as a desirable occupation for generations to come.”
Kelly MarCom will employ a marketing campaign of social media, advertising, direct mail and public relations to call attention to Guild’s annual show, which serves as the Southeast’s marketplace and gallery for regional craftsmen. The 40th Annual Carolina Designer Craftsmen’s Fine Craft + Design Show will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds’ Exposition Center.
