Kelly MarCom CFO Receives Top 40 Under 40 Honor
Kelly MarCom, an integrated branding and advertising agency, announced that Jamie Kelly, CFO and co-founder, has been recognized by Triangle Business Journal with the 2008 Top 40 Under 40 Leadership Award. Kelly also currently serves as county commissioner for Lee County. The program recognizes the brightest, most accomplished and influential young business people in the Triangle under the age of 40. Kelly received his award at a reception and dinner held at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh on Friday, May 2.
“I’m honored to be recognized as one of the Triangle’s top business leaders,” said Kelly. “It is a pleasure to be included among such an accomplished group of professionals who have all given back to the community we work in.”
Kelly’s role at the firm encompasses both CFO and chief technology officer, to which he brings expertise in finance, accounting, technology evaluation and IT project management. His primary focus is on infrastructure, operations, ongoing direction of technology systems and agency planning including new business opportunities.
The award marks another special honor for Kelly MarCom. Last spring, Shelley Kelly, CEO and co-founder of Kelly MarCom, was also recognized with the Top 40 Under 40 Leadership Award. The Kelly’s are only the third couple to win the award since its inception in 2001.
“I feel fortunate to have been able to work with my husband in this business for 12 years now and to build it together,” said Shelley Kelly. “The Triangle Business Journal’s recognition of our leadership two years in a row is quite an honor. It certainly infuses new energy into what is already a strong partnership.”
Triangle Business Journal will publish an in-depth special section covering the Top 40 Under 40 Leadership Awards in the May 23 edition featuring interviews with all 40 winners.
