Kelly MarCom Recognized by American Advertising Federation
Kelly MarCom, an integrated branding and advertising agency, today announced winning four ADDY® Awards presented by the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The awards were presented on Friday February 29th before a group of more than 300 individuals in the Triangle Region’s advertising community. Nine of the agency’s associates, including award winning designers Jessica Duensing, Jessica Padgett and Creative Director, Bryan Flynn attended the black tie Gala and Reception at Bay 7 on the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham.
“We’re very fortunate to employ a dedicated and passionate group of creative strategists,” stated Bryan Flynn, creative director. “It is extremely rewarding when hard work is recognized by fellow creative professionals from worldwide organizations like the American Advertising Federation.”
The agency was honored with a Gold level award for the BOOM! campaign, designed for AIGA’s biannual design competition events in 2007; a Silver award for the Dessert First campaign, which included multiple elements to promote The V Foundation’s event to fund research for women’s cancers held in August 2007; and two Bronze level awards for a poster created for the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County’s inaugural “Buffet Bash” in August 2007 and for Kelly MarCom’s own “Dirty Santa” 2007 holiday party invitation.
Work that is awarded gold and silver ADDYS® is eligible to compete in the district competition in Atlanta, GA with an opportunity to move onto the national ADDY® competition later in the year. Of over 550 entries in the competition, 58 Gold, 92 Silver and 39 Bronze awards were presented. Winners were selected based on creativity, originality and creative strategy.
The ADDY® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. The ADDY® Awards competition honors numerous categories of advertising.
