Kelly MarCom Wins Triangle Advertising Competition

Kelly MarCom, an integrated branding and advertising agency, was voted the winner of Business Leader Media’s second annual advertising competition. A full profile on the winning ad and the story behind it will appear in the January issue of Business Leader and at www.raleighdurham.com.

“The advertisement links the triumphant tale of the squatermelon, a box-shaped watermelon, to the conceptual thinking that happens here at Kelly MarCom on behalf of our clients,” said Shelley Kelly, president and CEO. “Our goal with the ad is to generate awareness about what we do so well – helping clients formulate an authentic ‘short’ story that is simple to understand, stirs emotion and is culturally relevant.”

The print ad also included a Web link to a custom-designed, interactive landing page on Kelly MarCom’s Web site at www.kellymarcom.com/thebox to further illustrate the squatermelon history.
